01 · Background

From research labs to startup pace.

I spent years shipping AI and ML at Microsoft and Alibaba AI Lab, two of the largest AI research orgs in the world. Now I'm a startup co-founder, building next-gen AI agents at much faster cadence with much smaller teams.

Outside the day job, I'm a trained counselor and a career coach for engineers. Tennis is the third leg of the stool, and it keeps me honest.

02 · What I do

Building agents that actually do things.

A longer write-up on the agent stack I'm building, the bets I'm making, and what I think the next two years look like. Coming soon.

03 · How I think

A few principles I keep returning to.

draft

Notes on attention, careful listening, the long horizon, and the difference between motion and progress. To be filled in.

04 · Long loves

The things I keep coming back to.

Tennis

The court is where I get away from screens. Tennis is the only thing that holds my full attention without effort. There's no room for the phone, the inbox, or the next idea. Just the ball, and the next shot.

More on favorite drills and players I watch closely, coming.

Counseling

I'm a trained counselor. Listening carefully, without thinking about what to say next, is the most undervalued skill in tech. The next decade of AI will only make it more important.

A reading list is coming.

Career coaching

I help engineers and early-career folks think clearly about the next move. Leveling up, switching tracks, or figuring out what work feels right. Counseling training shapes how I do this: less advice, more clarity.
